Trusteed Programs within the Office of the Governor carries out programmatic and fiscal responsibilities assigned to the Governor through the state budget. The budget supports economic development and tourism initiatives, the Texas Enterprise Fund, event trust funds, the Governor’s University Research Initiative, film and media production incentives, military community assistance, and grants for criminal justice, law enforcement, border security, juvenile justice, crime victims, sexual assault services, and human trafficking prevention and response.
