Sarah Matz is a highly skilled and knowledgeable public policy professional with almost 20 years of experience in team leading, public relations, and federal and state policy. Sarah has managed government affairs for large trade associations, provided policy analysis for both state and federal agencies, and worked as a congressional policy advisor. Sarah has a Master of Arts, Communication & Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with an emphasis in public administration from West Texas A&M University. A Class of 2013 Leadership Austin Emerge graduate, Sarah is involved in a number of community service organizations including the Junior League of Austin, Travis County Court Appointed Special Advocates, Zach Theatre Act One Steering Committee, MassChallenge Texas Advisory Board, UTeach Advisory Board, Southwestern Donkey and Mule Society, and CS4TX Steering Committee.
