Wayne Hamilton is a past executive director of the Republican Party of Texas – the longest serving executive director in Texas history. During his tenure as executive director of the Texas GOP, Texas Republicans gained 623 elected offices, including control of every statewide office and the first Republican state house majority in 130 years. Hamilton has served as the executive director of the Texas Inaugural Committee in 2003 and 2007-2011, as the national political director for 2012, Rick Perry for President. As part of his political consulting services, Hamilton has assisted the campaigns of dozens of elected leaders across Texas at the local, county, state and federal level including those of Congressman Joe Barton, State Senator Kelly Hancock, Speaker of the Texas House Joe Straus, and many others. In 2014 Hamilton was campaign manager for the successful 2014 gubernatorial campaign of Texas Governor Greg Abbott winning the statewide election by over 20 points. Following that election, he again served as the leadership of the 2015 Inaugural Committee.
