The Office of the Governor supports the state’s elected chief executive in carrying out constitutional and statutory responsibilities, including policy development, appointments, legislative review, constituent services, and coordination with state, local, and federal officials. The office also provides the administrative, legal, policy, and operational support necessary for the Governor to direct the executive branch and perform duties assigned by state law.
