Public Community/Junior Colleges is an Article III appropriation category that provides state funding to Texas public community college districts through outcomes-based formulas and other authorized programs. The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board administers the funding model, calculates and distributes allocations, and performs related reporting and oversight functions, while each college district manages the funds it receives.
